Aiden Cortell and Sarah Nechamen deliver a letter to President Skorton on behalf of the Cornell Permaculture Club! Permaculture is a practice aimed at designing sustainable agricultural systems by modeling them after naturally occurring ecosystems. On campus, the Permaculture Club encourages student participation in this practice and is devoted to its core tenets to care for the earth, care for the people, and share the surplus. With the power and influence that it wields, Cornell has a responsibility to hold itself to similar principles of environmental ethics, and it can only do so by divesting from fossil fuels. Thanks for your support, Permaculture Club! Read their letter here.
