Letter to Pres. Skorton #20: Farmers’ Market at Cornell

Members of the Executive Board for Farmers’ Market at Cornell deliver their letter to President Skorton in support of divestment! Farmers’ Market at Cornell is responsible for coordinating a weekly farmers’ market on campus, creating an environment for interaction between students and the local agricultural community. Their work makes it easier for students to support local, sustainable businesses and encourages greater cooperation between the university and the wider upstate New York community. As an organization, they are a great example of the dedication to sustainability that exists on campus, but they are aware that continued investments in fossil fuels undermine these environmentally responsible actions. Thanks a lot for your support! Read their letter here.
